The City of Huron is accepting applications for a Solid Waste Maintenance I position. This role assists with refuse collection and disposal, maintains drop-off and rubble sites, and supports the operation and upkeep of solid waste equipment. Duties include loading/unloading refuse, site clean-up, and working safely in all conditions. May assist other departments as needed.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED
- Some experience operating equipment; tandem truck experience helpful
Special Requirements:
- CDL Class A preferred
- Must obtain CDL Class B within the probationary period
Wage: $21.624/hour
